April 2013 Update

April 2013 Update – It has been 2 semesters already since IEBCF, our school in Fauge Haiti, has been in operation.  about 200 children, most of whom would not have gone to school this year, currently attend IEBCF for FREE.  We have a dynamic staff of 6 teachers and 4 additional staff members that are doing an amazing job at the school.  We are challenging the students to do their best and they are doing well.
* Now, as we prepare for the 2013-2014 school year, we are seeking support to build an additional 5 classroom to expand our school building capacity and our ability to serve more students, 300 to 400. To support our effort to give a better future to these children, please make a donation online through our donation button above –
HELP US GIVE THEM HOPE TODAY – (August 13 update) WE STILL NEED YOUR HELP TO RAISE ABOUT $20,000 TO PUT A ROOF ON OUR NEW BUILDING
Every dollar counts.  $50 buys a truckload of rocks, sand or gravel (we need at total of 25 truck loads of these). $10 buys a bag of cement or 1 to 2 bars of rebars (we need about 500 bags of cement). $1 buys 1 cinder/concrete block (we need 2600).  We count on your support to continue to empower the children of Fauge to get out of poverty.  We can give them a better future today with your help.

The foundation of 5 new classrooms to be built by the end of August has been dug. We need your help today. We’ve missed the mark, but we’re hopeful.
